2. paying there is safe. They have multiple payment methods
3. No there is not. Humble Bundle sells bundles as set of keys which are provided to them by the game developers/publishers legitimately
4. You have to redeem the keys once delivered via email on the respective platforms
4.1.1 it will be stated before purchase for which platform the keys are delivered
4.1.2 you can redistribute keys of products you already own, they ought to be separate
5.2 Humble Bundle only sells keys that apply to your region. DO NOT use a VPN or any other method that falsifies your correct region. Keys in timed bundles ought to be valid globally unless legal restrictions in your country apply (i.e. banned games)
4: While yes, you do get an email, the key is also available through their website and you can redeem it directly on Steam with a couple clicks.
Humble Bundle is what we would call an authorized seller. You'll notice that when you tried to mention g2a the filter blocked it. This is because g2a is what we call a shady gray market key reseller.
So, let's talk about Humble Bundle first.
www.humblebundle.com operates by working with developers and selling keys for games. You will need to check the page when you buy it, sometimes you get DRM Free games from Humble Bundle, sometimes you get Steam Keys, the page will make it clear what platform the game is for and what form of DRM if any there is. You'll further notice that the filters do not block www.humblebundle.com because, well, it's actually legitimate.
You can find more legitimate sellers here: https://isthereanydeal.com
This isn't, like, an official list of everything that is legitimate (I don't think it includes "buying from the developer directly" in a lot of games), but it does make a very useful resource for a list of places that aren't going to screw you over.
Now, let's talk about places like g2a.
You'll notice that even just mentioning the name of that site is blocked by the filter. I will now explain why. g2a operates by buying up a bunch of keys from actual authorized sellers when they are on a good sale, and then they make their profit by selling them at a time when the game isn't on sale (but they put theirs at a smaller discount.) For example, a game might normally be $60. They buy it at $40 on a big sale, and when the sale ends they sell the key for $50, pocketing the profit.
But it's more insidious than that.
Often, they will buy those keys with stolen credit card information, or they will make the purchase and then do a chargeback. This means that the developer has to invalidate the key, so you're given a key that doesn't work. Sometimes they give out the same key multiple times, meaning you might get a key that has already been redeemed and there is nothing you can do about it. When they buy keys with stolen funds, it costs them nothing and usually means they're going to try and sell the key at an even lower price in the hopes of offloading it before the chargeback invalidates the key.
Usually, when this happens if you reach out to their support page they will just jerk you around. We see a lot of threads here from people who have been scammed by them telling us that g2a told them they could do nothing unless the user reaches out to Steam support and makes support tell them when the key was redeemed. The problem is this is not something support provides, and g2a knows this. they literally give you a fools errand to try and make you leave them alone and maybe misdirect your anger elsewhere when Steam Support is unable to do anything about it.
This is why you've only ever heard bad things about them, I imagine.
Though may I ask what is with the DRM Free games and Steam Keys? Are they different categories? I checked Street Fighter 5 and it has DRM: Crackproof (checked via steam store). Does this has anything to do with Steam Key?
Also, how does the vouchers/coupons work, I closely inspected the bundle and it gives only in Humble Bundle store MH:Rise 50% Coupon, not the game. So I checked the MH:Rise in Humble Bundle Store and its already 49% off, same as Steam. So, does this mean it'll stack with that (49%) and gives 99% discount (Although seems impossible)? Plus it indicates "Redeem on Steam" in the Bundle Coupon but "Get 50% off in Humble store", how does that work?
Steam Keys are redeemed via the Steam Client, and will require Steam in order to play the game.
DRM is basically just "A thing that prevents you from just copying the file and giving it to your friend".
I'm not sure about the coupons, but I can guarantee you that it will not combine for 99% off.
Correction about Capcom bundle, it actually 9 games, and 2 coupons for humble bundle store, it tell you that when read what in the bundle.
How it make money, it takes a small percentage, some of the profit goes to charity, and the rest goes to the devs. That how site work for years.
Yes it is. Can use site tool isthereanydeal.com to help look for more sites as well, as it help you find best deals across other key sites.
Can look up Fanatical, IndieGala, and etc as they also do bundle sales.
Yes, it's a safe service.
Don't save payment info on it, if you don't feel comfortable leaving it on account and there nothing wrong either if choose not save info on it.
Getting banned is possible if you happen to do chargeback, or doing something against term of service, you have to read their FAQ about it on their site.
They give you key for the respective store, you have to review the page before you buy, so you know which store you redeem the key on, they even include redeeming instructions after buying.
Anyways for Capcom bundle they only give you Steam keys. 9 games Steam keys, and 2 coupon that for humble bundle store.
The bundle will tell you if the keys are said store. Capcom bundle you see is only for Steam, no other store. You get key for it.
You can give your key to someone else, like a family member, or to a friend that wants it.
You be given an error message when trying to redeem a game you already owned, the key won't be used up. Example if key only offer base game you own, you get this error, and nothing will happens.
Now example if key include base game you already own, and DLC you don't own, let say you don't own ice borne, the key will get used up overwrites your license because the DLC didn't own. But if you happen to own base game + DLC already, then the key give you error saying can't claim because already own it, and key won't be used up.
In this case this key from Capcom bundle only include base game for monster hunter world, so the key will give you error when trying to redeem it since you already own the base game on the said account.
It can only be redeem if your account is set for said region.
Example if key only for Asia, and your account is NA, you can't redeem it due to not being an Asia account.
No worries it smart to ask questions before buying.
About the bundle:
I scoured through the bundle, I happen to see that the MH: Rise is a Discount Coupon only, not a game. Having the discount coupon is great but the description says MH:Rise 50% Coupon used in Humble Bundle store. So, I went to the MH: Rise Humble Bundle Store page seeing it is already at 49% discount. It also says "Get 50% off in Humble store" while being redeemable via Steam, which in Steam, MH: Rise is at 49% discount too. How will this work? I don't really know how coupons work in both platforms. I'm actually surprised that coupon exists in Steam.
When you buy the game from humble bundle it will provide you a game key, it even tell you what store it is on store page before buying.
If have any other questions, don't be shy to ask, someone will reply back answering it for sure.
