Downloaded a virus (URGENT)

My 'friend' sended me this link. I downloaded it at my computer freaked out and everyone got logged out, even my regular tabs on chrome. My task manager is also disabled. How do I fix this? HELP. I know I am stupid

It would be easy if it were my computer. But it isn't. I know the virus is still here as I can't access anything from steam except my library. Also, when I go to steam website on my computer, I can't access anything. The page is a blank and I can't do anything. It's like I got IP banned.

I dont understand the virustotal thing. What am I suppose to do with it? Also, how do I cure the 'Posion'? Does Re-formating solve it? What other ways are there to cure the 'Poision'?

I got this message when I tried to access steam website in safemode, "Google Chrome's connection attempt to www.googlw.com was rejected. The website may be drown, or your network may not be properly configured.", I already tried 'IPconfig /dnsflash" and "Net ztop/start dnscache"?

He can still do damage.

Make sure to flick off and on again the Steam Guard in Steam client settings.
It will give you a 14 day trade/market lock which will prevent him from taking your items.

Also make sure you have 'Trade Confirmation' and 'Market confirmation' in profile settings.

MOST IMPORTANTLY hit "deauthorize all over devices" in account settings. This will kick his computer off and log him out.

He cant do anything without my phone. I am trying to remove the virus now. I think my connectiob has virus. I tried all the method to fix dns poisioning. Nothing worked

If that really is the case you should be sweet as. I do still suggest you do those other steps though ONCE you've removed the infection, most importantly the 'deauthorise other devices'

Changing ANY password BEFORE you've removed the infection serves no purpose - you'll have sent those new details to the scammer.

Do it ONLY AFTER you've reformatted.

I have re-formatted the computer C:\ but saved some files - Movie and photo to the data before re-formatting. Is my computer safe now?
