Have good specs, Still get fps drop on the most easiest games to get high fps HELP!!
Specs:
CPU: AMD Sixcore FX-6300 3.5 ghz (turbo 4.1 GHz aka if u want to overcloack)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750Ti 2GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1866MHz
HDD: 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT, USB 3.0
PSU: Fractal Design Essence 600W
OS: Windows 10 Home Premium or proffesional

ok, i play csgo on low ofcourse cuz i hate to play high on csgo (dont even question)
and get around 235 fps, very nice. EVERYTIME im near an enemy or much **** is going on i get fps drop and instead of me killing him, i get killed jsut becuse of this fps drop. Its not only in csgo. Its in gta 5, fallout 4, EVEN IN MEINCREFT!!
My temp is around 35-45 and when im playing its 40-50 or if i play on gta its 45-55
On gta 5. I can play on high and very high. no lag but its same s**t, 70 fps 10 seconds, then 10 fps 15 seconds. That happends too when i play everything on normal or even low.
I have found out that my core speed is 1.3 instead of 3.5 ( or alteast 3) and that maybe explains why. But how do i fix this? srsly, this have made me raged and even raged more on csgo becuse of these importnat rounds and stuff. :steamsad:

your CPU speed is probably 1.3 becuase of windows power profiles. make sure it's set to 'balanced' (not sure how you do this in windows 10) but if you type in the search box 'power options, it should come up and you can switch the power profile. it's usually set to balanced as default.

balanced sets the profile to power saver to save power/heat when the computer doesn't need much power, this usually lowers the CPU clock speed, when power is needed it will switch to 'High Performance' and the CPU clock speed will be full.

it sounds like your getting some 'stuttering' ingame, do you notice the frames drop at random times or is it more when you get a lot of things happening onscreen?

i'd suspect something like 'Windows Indexing' or one of the windows services, or something you have installed on the computer is deciding to do it's thing when your gaming, they are accessing the HDD when the game wants to load textures or something and so the frame rate drops.

could also be caused by antivirus, malware scanner, defrag tools etc.

1. It happends at random time

Sounds like you should ask in the game forum about this, since you can play but you just have FPS issues like you said.

Have you searched the game forum yet for possibilties ?

Try what the user above suggested and run Windows in "max performance" mode to test this.

Also, consider programs that may be conflicting with Steam and games. Antivirus/antispyware is a good start.

Could you please learn to use the edit feature and stop posting so frequently back to back like this ?

EDIT...What are you talking about above, with your statement about "removing viruses" ???

If you are being serious here, then maybe that was your problem to begin with ???
My post was about antivirus/antispyware software, NOT actual viruses. Look at the link I have given you, please.

Virus sounds likely, maybe one that mines for bitcoins.

Download a free anti-virus or try a paid one for free and scan your PC.

EDIT: Wait, you had viruses yesterday??
