Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs) @ 2.5GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM

Storage: 65 GB available space

Is your version of Windows 32 or 64 bit ? That i3 only has 2 cores but 4 threads so "maybe" that counts but I would not be too sure.

On sidenote: GTA V works on some 2 core CPU's - assuming they have hyperthreading. The i3 should work. So he could play with another 4GB RAM stick, a better GPU and if his OS is 64bit.
Nvidia geforce 840m 2gb
8gb Ram
Quad Core Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00Ghz
OS Windows 10
64bit
thanks in advance.
You are right, but I just figured OP would need some aditional convincing here. And that is what I assumed was correct, concerning the i3 and utilizing hyperthreading. Thanks.
