Although, after the 2 hours has passed, as you say, they have the right to say no.
Maybe, but they're pretty strict about it. If you cross over the 2 hour line that's pretty much it.
I remember a thread with one guy getting a refund with 5 hours playtime, which took us all by surprise.
As the FAQ itself says,
Exactly...now i am owning up to the fact that i am over 2 hours and technically should NOT get a refund, but why would other people get refunded who fall wayyyy out the refund policy, but not me, or others like me?
I feel jaded, disrespected as a customer. Go on Steam, refund that mans game who has 5+ hours of playtime, but not me.
I am not mad at Steam however, next time ill just be more respondsible and keep it within that 2 hour mark. Besides BL2 is a great game, ill give it another shot.
It is on a case by case basis. The other user may have had assistance from the developer with a technical issue, and forworded the messages from the developer as proof.
There is a lot we don't know as to why one is allowed and one isn't, just as we don't know all the circumstances around each refund.
True, your absolutely correct.
