no steam code email?

3 days ago it requested for me to use a steam code and it says it sent me an email but i aint got one, any help please? im on hotmail

As it's Hotmail, it wouldn't surprise me if you find the email in the Spam folder (or something similar).

Personally, I'd use another email provider than hotmail, but that's besides the point.

Let us know if you still can't find it.

Have you checked all folders, including "Spam" folder? If you've ensured it's the correct email addressed used on the account, but not receiving an email, you'll need to contact Steam Support for further account related assistance.

i guess my only option is to put up a ticket THEN =/ and i cant change my emailas it wont let me into my account

try deleting the ssfn file(s) from your steam folder or back it up somewhere.
it will ask for the code again when you start steam and send another email.

I tested with hotmail and outlook emails today and no problem getting the emails.

i think i might have to put up a ticket and request to change my email, hopefully they wont take to long to get back to me as i just made a new steam account and tried and i got the email straight away,

what don't you understand about finding a file in your steam folder?
a file that starts with an s pretty easy.
