Why is paysafe card payment not available on steam?
Why? Every other online store out there you can use paysafe for greece but why not on steam?

Because it is highly unreliable?

What's that suppose to mean? Paysafe service came back in greece in 23/9/15 but still steam hasn't added paysafe payment in greece yet.

Can confirm, I'm Greek and the option for paysafecard is not there. It is for other countries so one has to assume it has to do with paysafecards being disabled during the capital control. They are once again available in shops but I haven't been able to use them on either steam or league of legends.

You can't use paysafe in LoL too. I am afraid that it will take a long time to come back cause they removed the paysafe option in hungary too but in 2013 and its still not available in hungary.
The same might happen with greece...

At least as far as I know, we can always contact the paysafe offices to get a refund out of unused cards. If it does end up not getting fixed, at least the cards we already bought won't go to waste. I guess it might be the time to create a bank account for online shopping...was hoping to avoid it.

Well I've used paysafecards countless times, albeit for League of Legends, not steam, and they have been very reliable every time...I was just getting into steam, but it already feels jinxed.

There is nothing wrong with Steam. It is your payment method that has the problem. Use another payment method. Problem solved.

I get that it's not the best method. It's just that some people (like me) just don't want to mess with the whole mumbo jumbo that is creating a bank account and linking it to paysafe. Also, even though I am an adult I have to defend the younger people that are not yet independent enough to do more than buying a paysafe from a kiosk.
As far as Steam is concerned, I was biased against it for a long time, but now that I decided to give it a shot in order to play with friends, I seem to have ran out of luck. I originally got it to play Magic Duels Origins, but that game can't even start without getting a fatal error. I am now trying to get cs:go but paysafecards don't work. No, it's not Steam's fault. I'm not much of a superstitious man either. It just feels like the world is against my choice to involve myself with it...

If you are having problems getting games to launch (Magic Duels Origins, for example), then we can maybe help with that here if you want. If a Steam game does not launch, this forum is where you can ask for help.

I am thankful for the offer, but I will have to decline. I have spent hours searching through forums and I'm not the only one getting the problem. Every solution I saw has been different, and I have tried it all. I can just wait patiently for the company to fix it, they have acknowledged the problem and are hopefully on the case. Thanks again though. It seems like patience is all we should do for now.
