I cannot find a game's CD key from my mobile device

Hi,I have a problem with changing my number to my current one,but I don't have an access to my old one neither to my steam guard and I didn't note down a steam guard removal code.

So,valve support told me to send them a CD key,but I cannot find it from my smartphone(I have a access to my account only from my phone),so I was thinking if someone of you could help me.

steam dont have cd keys but if you did buy outside steam yes then you have a key

Well,I didn't,but I saw that some people,found their CD keys by right clicking on the game in library(on a computer),and then there appeared the "CD key" button or something like that

They are asking for a key from a physical or digital purchase as proof. This can not be obtained by you looking at your account.

So,what can I do? It could sound stupid,but the card that I used to pay on steam was expired quit some time ago,and I don't remember the 4 last digits,so I cannot prove my ownership neither by this way.

this i always have reatil box did learn the hard way got the cs box and orange box from valve

CD serial nr already activated at a account is bound to that account forever.

Make sure you are on right account


ps.
you need other box cover game with them serial nr in the cover label or some even put them in the media or behind the cd/dvd in the coverbox.

Now you have to imagine someone who isn't the account holder stating that same thing. This is why Valve requires what they are asking.

OP dont need this support already have a ticket open where OP is gonna prove that they are the owner

If they're asking for a key, you must have used one at some point. Think about where you buy your games. Have you bought games off of GOG? Humble Store? GreenmanGaming? Any of those third party retailers will give you a key. You can go back to their site and most likely find your key linked to your account on their site, which you can then give to Support.
