What do I do if steam still hasn't reviewed my refund request after 7 days has passed?

I have bought Baldur's Gate 3 and realized that it cannot run properly on my computer (Macbook Pro M1 8gb). I submitted a request on August 28 hoping to get it refunded the next day, but it did not. It has been 7 days now and I do not know what to do. I have requested for my funds to be returned to my e-wallet/bank, maybe this makes the whole process unusually longer?

Wait until the end of the buisness week, then post a seperate support ticket about it. BE AWARE steam support sometimes is very busy addressing multiple tickets from lots of people. Do not make multiple tickets as they will ignore them and slow down steam support even slower. Good luck.

NOTE: Ignore this information is your refund ticket is still open, at least until the end of the buisness week.

Could be due to large amount of tickets or people making multiple tickets on certain things. This actually slows down steam support. Also, did you buy the game on steam or a third party site?

NOTE: There is also some other issue with steam where games are not downloading. There is another forum post about this.

Yea, you need to wait and be patient. Go play a different game or something.

I see, I just find it a bit odd that it's this slow considering all my previous refunds only took a day or two. Also, I bought it directly from steam.

Yes, but it seems there are also other issues currently effecting steam atm. And the more times a person puts a ticket in for stuff, the slower steam support is. Also where did you buy the game from? If you bought the game from a third party site, they cannot help you with that. You never told us where you got the game from.
