How to earn Badges

How can I earn badges if i have no more badges avaliable

If you already crafted up to level 5 of the regular badge and level 1 of the foil badge, you can't craft anymore for that game. Move on to another game that has cards. You don't need to own the game to craft their badges.

I only have 3 cards of the game but It says that I'm not able to get more card drops so that means that I'll never be able to get drops from that game?

Once you exhaust the drops, no more drop for free. Either create a booster pack with gems or trade something for the rest of the set or buy them on the market.

Booster packs are a set of 3 random cards. They could be all the same card, all different cards and even a foil card.

Owh got it, but to have a booster card you need to spend a lot of cards and turn them into gems am I right?

You're misunderstanding how this all works then.

When you PLAY a game you will earn card drops numbering up to half of the set. So if a game has 10 cards in the collection you will earn ANY 5 (which might include duplicates)> To get the rest you can either get booster packs (more on that in a mo) or trade them with other people, or buy them on the market.

Then when you've accrued a set you can forgo them to "craft" a badge which will level you up a bit and give you a coupel of things like a wallpaper/background, emoticons and stickers possibly.

For booster packs to occur, you need to be logged into steam that week, and someone with that same game crafts a badge. It creates a booster pack which randomly goes to one person who also has that game. So, in other words a REAL long shot you'll get one.

Also, the higher your level the VERY, VERY slight chance increase of getting that booster pack.
