Steam stopped initializing the main monitor
I have 2 monitors. Main 32 "and additional 27". I haven't played games for a week. I decided to go in and see that all the games are running on an additional monitor. The main monitor (samsung c32jg5x) is not displayed in the big screen settings. Some games can be dragged through windowed mode to the main screen and deployed on it, but some, such as the New World, categorically do not expand to the entire monitor, and remain in windowed mode for a size of 1920X1080, and when you try to switch to full-screen mode, they immediately jump to the second monitor back.
Reinstalling video card drivers and monitor drivers did not help. Changing slots also does not help. The game simply does not see that there is a monitor with a resolution of 2560X1440.

That's not a Steam problem.

Make sure you have the main monitor identified as such in Windows. That will help games identify the display you prefer. Some games will need help to find the monitor you want to use, and that will need to be done according to that games settings.

I've had this issue before when Windows did an update and reverted back settings.
