dont go asking people to report something, you have to do it
As I told you before, if you feel a game is a scam or violates the rules of steam, you report it thru its store page
I don't know why you're calling it "marketplace" now (to make it sound like the "Community Market"?). We are not refunding anything, and you can't fool Steam with wording.
I've called it marketplace, because steam removes this shady market name and replace it with ♥♥♥
So to apply the post rules, I've replaced the name. And yes, I'm not trying to fool Steam, I'm trying to understand how that possible and allowed to create games with mass bot reviews??!!
Hiding the game only removes it from view, but it still appears in my library. I’ve already reported all the games from this developer, but no action has been taken so far
the "permanently delete" option does the same thing as the HIDE feature. Permanently delete was the first version of HIDE. you can try to contact steam support to ask for the license to be removed, but dont expect them to do it
if you want a refund, talk to the support for the site you bought the key from. its between you and them.
I would also remove the links to the games, name and shame threads are not allowed. and normally, when people try to shame games, they only help that games developer get more sales because you are now advertising it and bringing it to peoples attention.
And yes, it’s not just a "feeling." You can check the reviews of these games yourself. The accounts that left these reviews all have the same games, reviewed on the same date, at the same time. Each game has exactly 100 reviews, making the manipulation obvious
For sure, I'm not trying to advertise these games, and I strongly advise against purchasing them. Have you even seen the price tag? Each game costs 54 EURO, which makes it look even more fraudulent. As for the "name and shame," I'm only trying to warn others about this scam, not promote it
pretty obvious they are all bs
like the posters above said
report things like this to steam from the flag on the store page
they will not give you money back when you bought it from somewhere else
you can try and get a refund from that store
chances are slim it will happen but they are the ones with your money
Already reported every game they have. And made a ticket at the store, so just waiting for the their answer. Thanks!
You can NEVER ask for a refund from a place you never bought the product or service from.
So you bought those keys from somewhere outside Steam. You can ONLY ask them for a refund ever. They're the people you gave money to and they're the only people that can return it.
However, you will need to read their rules you agreed to at the point of sale. If they say you're outside of their terms and they refuse you, that's the end of it (assuming that is the case). You might get a goodwill gesture of a refund though.
But if you bought from one of those dodgy external grey market key resellers whose names we can't mention here, then you're going to be SOL most likely as they are notorious for their bad practices, selling stolen keys and so on.
Just a heads up. NEVER use those sites ever.
You might have a point, but I still feel it's important to warn others about this scam scheme to prevent them from falling into the same trap. It's not just about my 5$ loss; it's about making sure others don't get scammed the same way.
True, I’ll never use it again either. It was a cheap, but definitely painful lesson. Hopefully, sharing this experience helps others avoid it!
