odd behavior hard drive

I have a game getting a update, and it´s updating nothing wrong with that the odd thing is that the game is installed on the E: Drive but it´s the G: drives that´s working. Do anyone know what thats about?

Maybe there's not enough space for it to update?

That's usually why this happens. Remember because of hos Steam works it requires up to three times the total file size for it to do all it's work. So if the update or file is 10GB, you should allow up to 30GB.

So in such cases, it's looking for enough space to do all it's sorting and swap files before it writes it to where it finally needs to be.
