heheh, pointless.. anyways, puns aside, i'm pretty sure it does work like that but at the same time, i'm not sure since i check to see if i'm getting the right item. if you can't get it back that way, then take that as a lesson to double-check what you're getting.
Whether it makes them poorer is not the point.
You AGREED to the terms when you did the transaction and it makes it clear there are no refunds.
The point is that if there were it would be a nightmare of wasted time as support would be swamped.
So no, you cannot and you already agreed to that term.
You can ask support of course, but again if they say no it is final.
