Logitech G13 or something similiar
Does anyone have experience with Logitech G13 advanced gaming gameboard (http://gaming.logitech.com/assets/47825/g13-gaming-gameboard-images.png) or something similiar? If you have, how is the thumbstick for movement? I am a guy who grew up with a dualshock controller in hand and can never immerse in a game if moving around with WASD.

I use the thumbstick for movement and I love it! It'll slow your movement reaction speed down just a tad as you physically have to move your thumb right and left to change directions instead of just having another finger ready for movement in the opposite direction. It does however free up your 3 main fingers for skillbar usage or the like. It does feel like an analog stick although your thumb's position relative to the gameboard will still feel odd to a controller user.

Stay away from the Razer Nostromo and the Razer Tartarus though, their thumbsticks are actually just D-pads, which aren't that easy to use when you can't use the rest of your hand to press against when moving.

All in all; love the G13, would replace instantly if it broke :)

Ive got a G13, which i bought to replace my Nostromo N52 (Dpad, no stick). I LOVE both! the only game i use the stick for movemt is Subnautica, but even then, it takes some getting used to.

speaking of "getting used to", it DOES take a bit of it. You have to set up your profiles (keys to do what), but after that, it's fairly smooth sailing. :steamsalty:
