Steam Scaling and Ui issue (Windows 11)
Hey guys recently Ive been having issues with the scaling of steam on my PC I recently upgraded to windows 11 and since the start ive had this same problems with steam every day.

So what happens is menus tend to dissapear or get scaled out of the UI for steam such as things like the steam quick menu from the task bar sometimes its all black and sometimes its 25% black blank space and the rest is scaled down text and buttons. this carries over to menus like library, store, community, etc even going as far as when i full screen 75% of the screen will be black and steam will be in the corner somewhere and small.

this could just be an issue with multiple monitors on windows 11 just wanted to see if anyone has any fixes i could do that would be more permanent. currently when it happens i either need to restart steam itsself or I can go into my windows display settings and temporatily change the windows scaling to 125% then back down to 100% and it resets the UI and it works fine for a few hours before breaking again.

Try steam Flush cmd, do have steam account login/pw rdy, lets see if steam cmd can reset this you have donw, or you need to remove what you have done here to check its working again so you can reconfigurated whatever setup you aim for.

Even i have seen Browser and windows add 125% without my accpet of this,
so even system might have cause this if this is the case.

I only notice it because Browser game was bigger on other pc.

I havent changed or added anything. steam Ui changing its scaling with no changes is the issue.
It fixes its self by applying a scaling in windows 11 settings from 100% to any other scaling then back to 100% to temporarily fix it

If you know some basic coding, you can go into the settings and change it permanently. This is what i did. I found out how to do it using google. I also changed the bar at the bottom of windows 11 as i did not like how small it was. So i changed it manually coding to a size i like.

There has been othre post with 4k issue and DPI set.

Dont forget steam settings
with scale and icon to match default.

and
Turn off gpu accelrationn in web view.

The DPI settings is on Steam.exe ( until steam fix 4k view if they have not done this already )
i assume it has or fall under GPU Driver issue, because steam user dont seem to make post about it anymore.

and GPU card driver update, well its every week.

They Optimized so frequntly that our GPU card settings start to look like a joke here, i cant be the old one that notice this.

I have hibernation off. I just turned on the PC 10 minutes ago(fast boot disabled) wanted to launch a game and black box appeared when clicking task bar Steam icon.

After clicking on it again it works fine for a few hours, but black box eventually comes back.
