I suggest doing this, otherwise your sons account will get hijacked again:
Follow the steps.
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
Ask your son if they put API on their account, and explain not for them to do that unless they wish to get their account phished and hijacked again in the future. In fact you may wish to punish them in case they did this, or sold their skins on a non-steam site, as this also is a no-no.
Also, change your email password too.

This will help you get their email back. Also, in the future, you may personally may wish to make sure your son does not sell his CSGO skins not on steam site as there all scams. Tell them this even if they say the site is trusted. Punish them if they sell it not on steam. Only let them sell their skins on steam. Otherwise this will happen again, and again, and again...
WE have tried this several times and it keeps ending saying the account is self-locked. I really appreiate all the help, thank you. We might have got something going righjt now by using his username to sign in, I'll update with any success.
Also, do the steps i posted above. Not the guide one, but the ones i posted loosely with malwarebytes. Do this on your son's pc. Some nasty suprises still might be left on your son's pc.
