Logitech G29 on beam.ng through steam stream
Attempting to play beam.mg(or other racing sims) from the pc in my living room which is not strong enough to run them through the stream option, however, I can't get the logitech g29 setup to be recognized. Any tips or solutions to this issue? I have check the forums and haven't found anything

You did not look too hard:

I know your using a different version, but try what that says on it. Next time also search more on the game for the information.

It works on beamNG, that's not the problem. The problem is getting it work when streaming from one pc to the other.

hmm..that is a difficult issue. I suggest contacting logitech support. It sounds like your issue maybe very technical. Not many people here would know what to do. Again, logitech support. I know they have a support forum and email as i tend to use their controllers too.

Make sure to explain the setup and exactly word for word what the problem is. the more info you give them the better. good luck!

Or you could wait on here to see if some person who done it before posts here, but i still suggest contacting logitech support.

Steam is not showing the wheel as detected?
See if the steps I wrote here (the 'STUFF 2' part) helps:

I don't think the paragraphs I wrote after '...map the wheel in Steam...' apply to your wheel because the wheel list in SDL doesn't mention initial/active modes for a G29, but I dunno.

This is what SDL has for the G29
MAKE_VIDPID(0x046d, 0xc24f), // Logitech G29 (PS3) MAKE_VIDPID(0x046d, 0xc260), // Logitech G29 (PS4)

Maybe you'll see one of those VID/PID pair when you look for yours. You'll see the VID 0x046D.
