Recording manually using steam recording did not work for me.

I am not sure, but it gave me a error and said i could not record. I was testing it out, but it did not work for me for some reason. I am going to try the background method (automatic) next to see if that works for me.

I used it by starting the recording with CTRL-F11. Worked perfectly.Recording Automatically also worked.

Does not work for me. It did save when i had clips, but they do not play with me. I can do it manually with F11.

It also gave me error that says "SOMETHING WENT WRONG". The rest of the error is cut off though.

I also have broadcasting on. Could that be the reason i am not recording? Note that i do not play very long when i try to record. Not sure if that is why no recordings are being recorded. Will keep trying till i go to bed tonight. I cannot figure it out.

I turned off broadcasting to see if that is the issue.

AHA...broadcasting was causing it. IT seems you cannot do both steam recording and broadcasting at same time. You need to turn off broadcasting to record.

Now i got a recording but it says i cannot upload to share. Apparently you cannot do this with background recordings. I will try manually next.

I have same problem, but it was be solved thanks to your report as "stop broadcasting"
in my case, a recording not work right when broadcasting's settings is "open to public.
when settings is "request from friends" or "only friends", a recording was worked fine for me.

Well apparently i figured out using broadcasting and steam recording does not work at same time. So you need to turn off one to use the other one.

As for the broadcasting settings, they somehow seemed to be linked to the steam recording settings for some reason. Maybe they use a similar system and sharing it, and sharing settings too.
