Randomly losing internet followed by blue screen of death
I haven't found a specific thing i'm doing that makes the internet stop working, other than downloading on steam. After a few minutes of downloading around 3GB a second, it slowly drops lower and lower until it says i'm not connected to the internet. That can be annoying but is more rare because i don't download new games very often. Basically what will happen is I will be on the internet using facebook, youtube, or twitch, and suddenly things will stop loading. I will know immediately that it's acting up again, but by then it's too late. If i pull the usb out that i use for my wifi, it still says in the bottom right corner than i am plugged in but have no internet connection. When this problem isn't happening, unplugging the usb would result in a clear disconnection and the icon at the bottom right will change. Is my problem something with the computer, or do i need a new usb/way of using wifi?

@The Giving One I doubt he'd get a BSOD from drivers not being installed, being 3 years old I'd say probably HDD or PSU on the way out

Looks like it wants me to buy Speccy and says the free version is unsupported. Also I don't see any Exclamation points or anything out of the ordinary. Everything under network adapters has the same icon

I just downloaded the free version, works fine here :)

edit: you could do start>run>msinfo32, but that has even more info in it

Very true. Just wondering since he originally posted about connections and Steam but we seem to have that sorted out now and you are correct here.

Thanks so much for your excellent help and advice here on this. Very kind of you.

? it wasn't you with the problem, but thanks I guess :)

edit: I came here 'cause I was having an issue with steam connecting then disconnecting over n over after going to win10; though it seems to be good now, just had to make win firewall more permissive for steam.exe/steamwebhelper.exe

Just one more thing here, there is a hardware and operating system forum where you can get help on PC issues like this. This forum is usually and generally only about Steam issues specifically, so if you need hardware and OS help in the future, that forum is where you should probably post for help. Thanks and good luck to you always.
