Torchlight II mac installation

Hi everyone,

I just bought Torchlight II directly on the website by thinking that I would be able to download it on mac but I realized afterwards that I needed to buy it on Steam...

Does someone knows how to download it without paying a second time ?

Can you not use the "add a game" feature and use the key that you maybe got when you bought that game ? These are the minimum requirements for Mac and Torchlight 2...

OS: Mac OS X 10.8, 10.9, 10.10
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.0GHz or faster processor
Memory: 2GB System RAM
Hard Disk Space: 1.7GB free space (subject to change) on a case-insensitive volume
Video Card: OpenGL 2.0 compatible 3D graphics card with at least 256MB of addressable memory (ATI Radeon x1600 or NVIDIA equivalent)
Internet: A broadband internet connection (for Steam download and online multiplayer) - Online multiplayer requires a free Runic Account

I have the system requirements it needs but the problem is that the key Runic games gave me doesn't seem to work when I try to add it on Steam

May I ask why not ? Are you doing it with the "activate a product on Steam" tab or the "add a non-Steam game" tab ?

If you are getting a message when you do this, please tell us exactly what it says.

I'm doing it with the activate a product on Steam and It says that the product key is not valid.

Of course I have to ask, but are you absolutely sure you are entering the code correctly ?

If you are, all I can suggest is that you get support from Runic Games on this. I am sorry if that is not very helpful, and maybe someone else has more suggestions for you here and will post if so.

The code Runic gave me is not composed in the same way as this one... I have contacted both Runic and Steam to see what I can do.

Good luck, and I am really sorry about that and that I actually did not help you much. Runic is probably where you need to get help on this, as you got the code from them, you see.

Feel free to post back if you need anymore help or if you get this figured out. We like to hear when codes are not working properly, but I am not saying for sure that is what your problem is as I don't know for sure, you see. Thanks.
