Activated $5 Wallet code, account still limited?

I activated a $5 wallet code from tremorgames on my alt yet its still limited and unable to trade its items. Is there a delay as according to steam FAQ activating $5 wallet code will make your account unlimited

Adding wallet codes doesn't give you access to the market - you need a valid purchase on record and then you must wait 30 days to access it.

Wallet codes don't count. It has to be a direct purchase of $5 usd wallet funds from Steam directly or a game purchased at $5 usd or your local currancy equivalent.

Some examples of purchases that grant access to these features are:

Adding the equivalent of $5 USD or more to your Steam Wallet
Purchasing game(s) that are equal to $5 USD or more from the Steam store
Adding a Steam Wallet card that is equal to $5 USD or more to your Steam account"

Clicking on Wallet Card even takes you to wallet code redemption area on steam...

That doesn't say you get market access - that just unlimits your account. To access the market; you are required to have a valid purchase on record from the Steam Store that's 30 days old. This is even clearly stated in the restriction message your receive.

It can take a few hours/days in some cases for the restriction to lift but as long as you've got at least $5 on your account; it will become unlimited. In the meantime; you should buy any cheap game from the Steam Store right ASAP to get the restriction counting down 30 days.
