Will Not Refund To My VISA
Hello, for christmas I got a 50 dollar steam gift card. I spent 10 dollars on the undertale sountrack, (Let's say 12.50 with tax) And 15 dollars on PA. I got a refund on PA, so I should have 38 dollars on my visa, I checked the webesite, and it said I have 25 dollars left. I'm not sure where the refund money went to if it's not on my visa, and yes I requested it be refunded to my visa. What do I do?

Refunds go to the payment method used to make the purchase. If the original payment method is unable to accept the refund-credit then the money goes to your Steam Wallet.

So. If you bought the game with a "gift card" Valve attempted to put the money back on that same gift card... some other Visa cannot accept the money. If.. the gift card cannot accept a refund-credit the funds should end up in your Steam Wallet.

I'm confused how you go from activating a gift card to refunding to Visa, was the gift card visa?

The policy says that if for any reason it is unable to be sent back to your original payment method, then it goes to your wallet.

Do you not see the funds in your wallet for Steam yet ?

Whoops, I said 50 dollar steam gift card. I meant Visa, I don't see anything in my steam wallet. Thank you guys for responding.

Please read this question carefully...

When exactly did you get an email saying that the refund was approved ?
