No Email Refund Confirmation.
I set up a Refund Request, it wen't through, and it said that it was pending. Today it's no longer there, and I have received no Email's telling me that it had been received unlike the one other time I used this system, no have I had an Email telling me that it had/hadn't been approved.

Should I try and set up this Refund again until I receive some sort of confirmation that it has actually gone through to Steam Support?

The E-mail service for steam looks to be down. i dont get any mail from steam guard when requesting a security code and i can se other people complaining about not getting e-mails to vertify some trading stuff.

Any idea if these Email's will end up coming when the service is up again? It's a long shot I suppose, but if the service is down they could be pending on their end.

What email provider do you use ? Not sure if it is related to the current issues, but some don't get along with Steam and block emails.

Ok so I have a even worse problem, I had Squad ($40.00) refunded to the point where they took it off my account to where I can't play it. But they decided to not give me my money and its been like 2 weeks, I have no receipt in e-mail nothing, they just took the game back. I have been trying to get "Steam Support" if that's what you want to call it. But now I just get put into a loop of please confirm your e-mail for your "Steam Support Account". So that's cool I guess... Thanks Steam.

I feel like Steam is over there laughing..

I used AOL for this one. But the fact that I have def receive all kinds of e-mails from them under that e-mail, Just wouldn't make since that I wouldn't receive a e-mail for a refund, or the money itself. When under my steam support tab it says that they refunded me the money.

Yep. AOL is one that is KNOWN to not get emails from Steam. Use Gmail and that seems to always work.

Do you think you can figure out what my issue is. I have Gmail and when i went to get my refund for Payday 2 Goty and the separate dlc that was on sale and i never got an email for any of them. The game was already taken from account and it doesn't say that i have funds pending in my steam wallet.

That can depend on your payment method. Check your purchase history concerning this game just to be sure. If they have refunded it, then it should say so there...

https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/

Also, make sure to read the FAQ in case that can help you, as in if you refund within 24 hours of the original purchase and it is approved, that can affect this also.

Where is my refund? My refund was approved, but it’s been more than 7 days.

Approved refunds can take up to 7 days to appear in your account – however, refunds to international payment methods may take longer. If your refund hasn’t appeared after 7 days, please contact your bank directly and ask about pending refunds on your account.

Please note: When a refund request is approved within 24 hours of the purchase, the original transaction is cancelled and the charge drops off your bank statement. In this case, you will not see a credit on your account. This process can take up to 10 days – wait time for international payment methods may vary.

Still can’t find your refund? Please review your recent purchase history; you may have used the funds to make another purchase!
