EDIT: worked after few hours :)
It is rather annoying that we should have to jump through hoops (and in my case, follow a game I'm not at all interested in; guess I'll have to remember to unfollow after the sale) in order to solve this. There should be at the very least a "remove from queue" button on the error page. :/
For those of you having trouble getting the game ID, check the URL; it should be part of that after /app/.
