Unknown online adventure game

Hi

This my not be a steam related question but who knows...
a couple of years ago I purchased an online adventure game, as far as I remember it was a pointandclick game. There were 3 or 4 parts available at that time. The next part was still in development.
I looked trough my files but cannot find anything, no mail, no receipt, nothing. guess I deleted everything

all i can remember it was kinda darkish, i remember a forest and a hut, but thats about it.

does anyone have an idea which game it may have been?

Sadly, there is alot of point and click games. I suggest searching it for what your looking for on steam. Since it has many parts..maybe it is deponia? Again, this is a guess out of the air, but it is one of the ones that has multiple parts. Sam and Max click games also have multiple parts too.

I suggest even checking out these games as there some of the best point and click games other than the monkey island series. As for online, im not sure about point and click games online. I am only familiar with these ones. Again, search using the point and click tag and online and maybe you will find it.

You're saying it wasn't a Steam game? Steam games stay in your Library forever.

What do you mean 'online"? I don't know any online point and click adventure games.

Was it 2D or 3D? What was the story about? Can you remember anything about the intro?

Maybe one of the Broken Sword games.

I found it. It was TheDreamMachine. I remembered it was from a swedish company, that helped finding it.
Since flashplayer was retired by adobe in January, I cannot open the website. Nevertheless I am pretty sure I purchased the game on steam. But there is no info about it in my account.

I could look through my credit card bills cuz the most likely payment option I would have chosen. Does anyone know what the bill wuould show? I looked for steam but couldnt find anything

*If* you bought it from steam, your account purchase history would have a record of it. Check there.

If you bought a key and registered that game, check your account licenses.

I could open their website on an old computer. I guess I purchased the game directly on their website after all...

2020.11.15 - So long, farewell... Since Adobe is terminating support for the Flash browser plug-in, this site will be shutting down by the end of the year. We'll still run a non-Flash version of the site, in order to answer questions from existing players and redirect new players to the Steam or GOG versions of the game. But that's it for this site.
