Minecraft setup

Hi,
I'm not very techy but slowly learning... I'm trying to get Minecraft on steam deck. I've downloaded the game and prism launcher but when I open prism launcher I get an error code for subroutines failing. I can't create instances.

I can play Minecraft in desktop mode but the controls are still keyboard. Ive downloaded an Xbox controller layout but still can't use the desired setup.

I would greatly appreciate any help you guys can provide!!

I want to launch Minecraft from my steam library and not have to sign in every time, and also be able to use the Xbox controls.
