Hide DLCs to Games you don't own?

How do you "Hide DLCs to Games you don't own"?

When I browse game-genres on the store page, I don't want 40x worthless DLCs to games I don't own.

That's never been a thing I saw in the list of games in the scrolling down list.

There are occasionally little ads around that tell you about DLC, but that's not a huge thing.

There is a setting in the store that lets you filter out things like this when looking at games. Check the filter options. I am not sure they added it yet for the new dlc type stuff, but you may want to check it out.

Actually, a recent update made dlc's appear in the store now like games. I believe it was done in a update last month.

I'm not sure why or how that would ever be a thing.
I just double-checked.
NO DLC show up at all in the scrolling down thing that shows games.
It literally would make no sense to make that a thing either.

I've had DLCs appear in the past (ages ago) so it is a thing.
Even games I've ignored.
Nowadays if I look up a game and am not interested I set all the DLC to ignore status too.
This is Steam we're talking about.
It's not like they're not known for constant bugs.

lol..yea true.

But for real, the dlc are now labelled when you look at them in the store, but yea, adding them to your ignore list will make them get off your search for games without looking at dlc for games you do not own. Just put them all on your ignore list.

Guys, I've literally scrolled down like 5 pages using New and Trending, and not a single DLC showed up.

Can someone show me a screenshot of them showing up in the list?
Because I literally have never seen this, and it makes no sense for it to be in the scrolling list.

Yeah. That's what I'm talking about too.
It simply doesn't show up when scrolling down and searching a genre.
Like RPG.

OK, here you go. See how it has a banner saying DLC? That is the dlc for elden ring. Maybe you have it ignored or something?

Perhaps. I don't think it appears on the main page of the steam store, but it does when you search for something specific. Again, you can ignore it or filter your search to stop it from showing.

Also, like i said, it was done in a update a month or two ago this year. I guess not everyone is used to it yet. That is why OP wants to block them, but as i said, you can use filters to do it.

NOTE: I also do not own Elden Ring, so dlc showing for games you do not own is normal.
