How long did you wait for the invites?
If it was Valve's own platest for DeadLock, that's a no go.
They have a Discord and a forum outside of Steam but access is only for accounts in the test itself. We can't give out that information to people not in the test.
True. The OP did not discuss what game it is, and maybe they signed a contract not to discuss the game, like i did when i beta tested a couple games myself.
Yeah. A journalist from The Verge got banned from the game because they wrote an in depth article about Deadlock.
Yep, People laugh when i tell them i had to sign a contract to not talk about certain games, but it is true. They can even sue you if you do not follow the contract. I had also a gag bill in the contract to make sure i do not ever talk about one of the games i beta tested. I will just say it has been out and has been on steam since last year.
It was a really in depth article too. They could even carry the ban to the full release of the game. But knowing Valve, that's not likely.
Depends on the contract wording. As i said, some even have legality to even sue whoever wrote articles or stuff. I even read about one person who posted a youtube video getting hit with being sued 10k for a game they put on their channel before it came out. I think it was for a ubisoft game. It can and has happened.
Well that answers the OP's question.
this is probably long resolved, but so anyone who googles find this. Here you can see and accept your invites
