Reading Games GUIDES or download to PC
How do I download a GUIDE that I have purchased? I have it here on-site but find it impossible to navigate. I'd prefer to have it on my home PC

SORTED
I have to -

1. Access Home Page
2. Library
3. Home
4. Relevant Game (In this case Millennium 4)
5. Scroll down until you locate pic of the Guide in the RH column
6. Manage DLC
7. Installed Files
8. Browse

This locates the game on your hard drive and the Guide with it

Back in modem age , we had offline browser that dl and store content, sense we are past dial modem , i have not kept eye on such anymore.

i only mention this if other steam user still use it, and know every browser that can do this.

sense multi moinitor or taskout to browser as most do , then hole offline ways, or cached page access seem unessary unless as you do want a way to still read it.

thats why i reply so other can help you, or you might google it and solve and test other browser that can do what you want.

( also know as offline reading in the past )
dont forget its 2 decads ago , name and old ways might be going sense fiber/flatrate line was a always online.

lets hope other steam user might know more and still use such ways.

Cheers mate. I hope so too. If I cannot save it to my hard-drive, how do I read it?
It's clunky AF on-site and impossible to read even a whole page at a time, let alone search for an answer to a specific query. Just want to add that as a retired Reference Librarian I'm not entirely illiterate in online searching methodology.

We can't really tell what is being offered to you.

In general, if there's no PDF, or maybe "HTML as a zip-file" for you to download, and you're just navigating on their site, you might not be able to download it easily. Or maybe a recursive wget/curl will actually work; things like that depend on how things are done on their end.

I downloaded WebCopy and also a useful widget for recovering data from damaged disks. Will let you know how it goes.

Thanks for that. I get that very well. What I'm trying to read on-site if possible and offline if not is Millennium 4 Beyond Sunset User Guide by Aldorlea Games. I succeeded in buying it and it's on my page now, but is a nightmare to read with the tools supplied by Steam.

Aaaagh!! NOW I can't find the Guide, only my games.

Most guides is in the game own folder, and dont link to its content, game devs own game manual, assume its them we talk about here. ( or other online web page with wiki info. )

Dont forget we other play sid meyer's game manual, and you could not play the game if you did not read it. ( even Tie fighter has many keyboard key as i remember it ) such info most be known.

assume you know you can right click each gam and browse local contant from there.
