merging steam accounts

My daughter has a steam account with one game in it we set it up on boostroid so she could play their game we're not signed up for boostroid anymore so now she plays the game on my computer besides too a different account and forgets to sign out is there any way to merge the too accounts so she wouldn't have to sign in and out of my account and then I could remotely access my account without having to sign back into the right account

You can look at family share and try that if the game has that enabled on their end.

But no there is no way to merge accounts as games are linked to individual accounts only and cannot be transferred to others.

Steam accounts can not be merged together. Per the Steam Subscriber Agreement, Steam game subscriptions / CD keys are nontransferable and cannot be reset / moved between Steam accounts.

It might be time to look at getting your daughter a PC. Maybe a Steam Deck, or if the game she's playing isn't demanding, one of those mini PCs[www.amazon.com].

So boostroid is cloud streaming service?

If you made the account, can simply just login as normal without needing boostroid, and download the game you bought.

Please note Steam doesn't do account transfer, or merge.

If it just one game on other account, can always rebuy it on main account want it on, or do family share which is somewhat you're looking for, but please note not all games can be family shared. The current family share gonna be replace in due time with a better system, it makes it easier to family share, and simpler when sharing with your kids.

thank you for the replies everybody I can use family share but my daughter wants her saved game progress. is there a way to shut off the cloud saves and then manually move a file from one account to the other on the PC. I'd appreciate If anyone could help

Upper left corner: Steam > Settings > Cloud

Turn it off for both accounts.

thank you I'll give that a try and see if I can't hunt down the file on her account and copy it and see if I can't paste it over to my account

Though you may have to look up where to put them after you download them.
