Steam Family Sharing how to see which game is from which member?
I'm curious since I added my sister, I have no idea what she actually added to the library. Is there a way to sort by family member who owns a game?

If you are in the normal Family Share system and not in the new Family Beta you can set your Steam library to display it that way.
At the top of your games list in your library click on the "Games" field and select "group by library".
All your sisters family share games should now appear in their own collection in your library named " XXX´s games" with XXX being the name of your sisters account.

I'm using the new system, do they just not have that?
Just ask them if you live in the same house. Or send your sister a email and ask them.

Hey sis, can I see the entirety of your steam library? Yeah I don't know, seems a bit silly.

I do not know. i can ask my brother and he tells me. Sounds like a personal problem to me. As far as i know it is just easy asking them. Not sure why you cannot do it.

I mean, cant you just click on your sisters Steam profile and then the GAMES list to see what games she has?
Just subtract the free to play games and games that use third party clients ( rockstar, ubisoft, EA and so on) and you should get a fairly complete overview whats available to you via Family Share.

So I'm running into a similar issue, I want to know how many games I own without the whole family sharing thing being mixed into it. Between my games, my best friend's games, and my brother and sister, it totals out to over 700 games. I don't know about any of you, but I can't be bothered with going through a list of everyone's library and slowly checking off games until I've excluded all except my own. Why can't family shared games just go into a separate list?

Just open up your own profile and next to the 'games' word/button it will say the number of games you have, you can click into that page and scroll down the list of games
So, here's what I did to see family members' full libraries individually: I just created a dynamic collection for each family members. Works really well for me, so I can see what games we can play multiplayer for the new library sharing feature. Steps to reproduce: Create new collection. Name is something like "James's Games". Select "Create Dynamic Collection". Put their Steam Name in the Friends box (in the far right at the bottom). That's it. Now "James's Games" shows up in the library list and stays up to date with all the games they have in their library. This works better than the "Group by Library" feature that puts all the titles not in my library in a deduplicated set not including any titles I also own.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
