I don't know how to connect my controller pls teach me how to connect it
Is it PS4, switch pro, Xbox?
Yeah, if you're using a controller that's a workaround of a keyboard mouse setting, then you ain't going to have rumble.
You need your controller to be set up as something like a 360 or Xbox One controller, or at least emulate it as that (ie, using a PS4 controller and something like Joy2Key or whatever it's called).
Then you need to use a game that has that feature coded in.
I use an Xbox One controller straight through USB and rumble works fine and automatically through racing games that I've tried.
I've not got it through my PS4 controller, but I've not been arsed to chase it down, so it still could be possible.
Vibration control is found in your controller settings in the Steam settings menu, works fine for my DualShock 4 but as you're using a third party controller it might not be recognizing it correctly.
You could try DS4Windows and see if that helps but again I'm not sure if it supports third party controllers
Steam settings, controller big picture controller, and just check the box for generic controller, and give a test, if nothing enable PS4 as well, test if nothing, then uncheck generic controller, and test.
No need to mess with buttons, as they will not fix your issue for rumble.
I also tried installing ds4 windows and the program that it comes with.(Yes it does have vibration i double checked it)
What if it's in the windows settings?
I'm not familiar with the game but normally if it's available, it'll be in the options/settings menu somewhere.
(Correct me if i'm wrong)
