nvidia and yes drivers are up to date
Thx for feedback again so there is may be a link between this kind of problem and the last nvidia ready drivers and the gpu accelerated feature under steam.
To start Windows in safe mode with networking then ONLY opening the store to see if it works?
This was already solved, it was a setting that steam enabled in the last update. Please read through the thread :p
What did eventually end up fixing it for me was going to Settings -> Interface -> uncheck Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views (requires restart).
I tried a few of the other suggestions in the comments but this is the one that finally seems to have fixed it! Thank you so much!!
good it solved your issue, thx for your feedback
I literally already said to do this yesterday >.<
I know and I saw it:)
I had connection issues, unfortunately, and steam wasn't cooperating with me to scroll back through comments so i couldnt mark yours as the solution. But the comment that I was able to at the time had the same solution and was appearing since it was the latest comment. Thank you though!!
I unchecked Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views in settings, and from that moment, after restart I am unable to run the Steam client. When I'm trying to open it, there is a transparent login screen, and I am not able to do anything with it, so I'm not able to even log into Steam. Also, I tried a lot to fix it, but again, nothing helped. Each time I run the Steam client, a transparent window opens.
Has anybody had a similar problem? If yes, how did you solve it?
not all nvidia geforce graphics card driver are using "551.76" version at all.
mine is nvidia geforce gt 730, can't even use the "551.76" version at all, thus as a result, i don't have the problem like the rest of your here.
