Avira is known to give false positives, BDO has no trojan, if that was the case, tons of people would be complaining....

It should be obvious why they deleted your post, because your stetement is bias.
Again, if it was such a problem, many people would be complaining, but you seem to miss that part.

Upload the file to virustotal.
Post the link to the result here

deleted malware bytes after scanning
It looks like a generic packer detection. So likely nothing.
Next time, use virustotal or contact the antivirus company about it.

"Gen" and "pack" speak a clear language.

It's good to be safe than sorry but sometimes even AVs can have false positives.
And does anyone know why these are caught as false positives or are we all just guessing because iky.

Can be anything. Antiviruses act on patterns in the code and behavior of the program in question. If it is deemed as "suspicious" it might just be flagged as a maleware.

This is because not every new maleware is predefined in their database. So it's better to be safe than sorry.
Some people don't understand anti virus is not a person, or an AI, it's a system that detect things in patterns for signatures, it unable to tell apart from being false, or positive what it detects only knows from the database nothing more, nothing less, I have games detect old games that doesn't get updates at all that get flag YEARS later as a virus by modem database, that because again the signatures it detect that it, unable to tell if it false, or positive, that why have to verify about it yourself using virustotal as people sometime leave comments.

Anyways if you know it's false positive all have to do is whitelist the game file, or folder to solve your problem. Also you're free to post in game own forum about it which you should for active games that still getting updates if this is a recent change, this way some people can check it out.
You can always contact the developer of the anti virus program and let them investigate it on their end. I did this with malwarebytes about a older game that gave me a virus warning. Their staff investigated it and deemed it as fake or fake positive. You can usually find a forum specifically for reporting fake positives on most anti virus developers site to make sure it is actually safe. I suggest report it there.

While it's better to be safe than sorry, BDO has had a history of false positives. It's good to be vigilant.
