How to block Anime/Manga games

Hello,

the amount of anime/manga games is getting way out of control. I don't want any recommendations of this kind any more on steam.
Does anyone know how to block game genres?

Steam does not offer built-in functionality to block a genre of game.

Well if it may help you, I started now to select the games and click on "not interested". Hopefully that does something. Why do this crappy games all got so good ratings? Haven't seen one beneath 90%.

Because there are people who have different opinions than you.

Some people have thousands of hours in CS:GO. I played it a few times and uninstalled it. Oh well.

Oh it's not only a question of opinion. You see there are other great games I like and dislike. Most of them don't go over 90 % but close. That's what happens when 15.000+ people with diffrent opinions give their reviews. What I am confused about ist that all of the anime and manga games seem to have almost 100 %. And when I am reading what people normaly complain about, when giving a bad review it appears to be strange that this genre seems to generate a lot of almost perfect games.

User reviews do not show an objective rating of the game, it show a subjective opinion of the each one who played that game.
100% of positiev reviews mean that 100% of the people who played the game are reccomending that game to the others, not that the game is perfect.

Because this store isn't for YOU. It's for everyone. As such they deem it worth that higher score. That's why - it doesn't mean they're right or you're wrong. It just means you have no interest in them.

I'm the same with fighting games - they have never done anything for me.

But you are doing the rightthing - block as you see fit and it will "learn" to some degree.

Do note you can't just wholly block a genre as it'd be impossible to manage. Way too many games either cross genres or defy genres altogether. Because reality rarely likes being stuck in a box.

So the best you can do is make sure you use the options given to you and be patient.

U can't block a genre, u can exclude tags from discovery queue. It's not nearly the same but perhaps it can help comfort a bit.. :)
Hover over the STORE => Discovery Queue and than u can put a bit of preferences in. Like tags to exclude all games with manga tag..
