Baldurs Gate 3 moderation bans for no reason.
I recently asked a question on the forum. Other people didn’t notice my answer, so I decided to update my question and wrote a + sign in my topic. And after that I was banned for 4 days. I contacted support and they told me that they did everything right and banned my topic.
My topic on BG3 https://steamcommunity.com/app/1086940/discussions/0/4032473196482795051/?tscn=1701373477

BUT. I've already done this many times and no one banned me for it. I did this when the tape was moving very quickly and sometimes someone couldn’t notice the question or didn’t know the answer.

Where did I update the post https://steamcommunity.com/app/1716740/discussions/0/3824173464659496089/?tscn=1693661557#c3824173464659530484

How can this issue be resolved? I just don’t know where to turn, I don’t understand what happened.

The age of the post is irrelevant. It was reported now and acted on.

You would be mistaken too. Even Steam Support moderators warn/ban in many other game hubs they moderate for doing just this. A good example is Valve titles.

Banned for discussions. This is modern moderation on Steam. As soon as any discussion begins, for example a very heated one, the topic is quickly closed. There are not even insults in these topics, but the topic is still closed.

There are Threads with hundreds of posts.
Threads get closed when they go Off-Topic too much.

This can only happen with the BG 3 forum, because sometimes simple topics are banned there, and sometimes it is not clear what the moderation is thinking about. That's why I decided to write this question.

I got banned for 2 days on Hogwarts Legacy talking about mods on nexus mods. Apparently, that is a bannable offense too, and considering i usually mod alot on skyrim, this suprised me.

Some games you can talk about modding games, but apparently, Hogwarts Legacy forum you cannot do it. Since then, though, ive seen other people post about mods on there. I think they loosened the rule since i got banned talking about mods from nexus mods.

I've never heard of any developer banning discussion of mods in their forum ever.
THat's a bad thing, and not a smart move.

Well i can say it happened to me. It might also of been because when Hogwats Legacy first came out alot of people were posting nasty stuff. Perhaps i just got accidently in the crossfire when trying to help a person by mentioning a broom mod that helped people fly smoother. I mentioned nexus mods and the next thing i know, i got a ban for mentioning mods. I did read the rules of the forum and yes, it was on there.

Yeah. THat's probably what happened.
Because I've never heard of that happening.
