RBS Mastercard getting declined for the past few months

I've recently had trouble using my Mastercard in the UK. I have been able to get around it with Paypal mostly but things like subscriptions require a card on file. I have contacted my bank but they only give me the vague response that it gets declined "due to our policy".


Does anyone else in the UK have this problem?

If that's the response from your bank I'd say change bank. It shouldn't be policy to reject legitimate transactions.

Any renew of card , require open and appval at own credit card page.

Bank do not automatic do that anymore, ( call it user own double checking, do note we have no clue when you activate it , and do not mix up with local shopping and online order.

online order do person ID check , local use own pin code thats not same thingy.

+ as above user point out so many other things can do that check status page on any hanging order not appoval by bank yet.


i dont know what you call debit depertment in UK, other things that can cause grieef, we are gamers here we dont care if you have negative balance , this is only mention so we get it as steam user to steram user help, most dont think on such can happend, all you need is a pay check not going in and you get into trouble, and you dont know why.

we do not say you had this, more a do check all is in surplus as we aspect it is.
and you dont have to tell us anything here as users.
