Problems with Family View
Hi guys,

Are more people having issues with the Family View? On my chrome browser, when i enter my pincode, i can't turn Family View off. When i go to the Steam App on my computer, then i can turn the Family View off with my pin. But i can't manage the account or Family View account because it says i entered the wrong code.

I have to make a trade-offer but i can't do it right now :(

Had the same issue. There is currently something going on, so not much we can do. Something Valve would have to look into on their end.

I ended up disabling Family View for now.
That's the point, i can't disable Family View. In the app i can turn it off with the code. But when i want to disable it it says the code that i entered is wrong. In Google Chrome it doesn't response at all.
Same, requires Family View Pin to disable family view. Desktop app seems to accept my pin in the popup, but when I try to access the store it prompts me for pin in the browser window, this one will not accept the request.

When you are on the screen to input the code, there is text under the box saying something like "I don't forgot the code" or such (can't recall what it said exactly)

You can send an e-mail to the e-mail account associated with the Family View code. You then follow a link to disable it.

Already tried all browsers and thought is was a local problem.
Desktop and android phone app accept the pin code only pin in browsers seems te be a problem at the moment :(

The app accepts the pin, just as the client does, but when you go to the discussions it asks again and won't accept it.
Just wanted to let others know that I'm having the same issue on PC with the application.

Asks for PIN to sign in, which goes in fine.

Try to access Store, asks again for PIN and says it's wrong. Than it says too many attempts.
Can confirm; initial request for PIN is accepted (i.e. I can see my Library (didn't try to start a game, though)), but if clicking on Store or Community, I am asked for the PIN again, and is immediately told that I have too many attempts too soon. This happened already on _the very first time today_.

I had to disable Family View to proceed (click on the "I forgot my PIN" below the error message, and follow the e-mail link).

Of note is that I restarted the Steam Client about 24 hours ago, so the client should be up-to-date, but I received a notice about a client update today, despite the last public patch note being from Dec. 11 (AFAIR). However I think I restarted the client because I could bypass Family View, so this is probably not the cause - just odd.
Same issue for me, 113 level, typing from alt.
It partially works, i can disable family view on steam guard app, i cant access some aspects tho as it asks pin again then say its wrong and eventually too many attempts.

Not sure what to do, reset?
