Steam Games Folders Still exist inside PC after Uninstalling
So I decide to delete some games just now . However , Their folders still stay inside on the PC . I have to go into Steam Folder manually and delete each folder one by one of the game I HAVE ALREADY UNINSTALLED . So is this Steam's fault or is there any setting I can do to fix this

Did you uninstall the games directly in Steam? If the answer is yes Steam only deletes the game install it knows about and tracked. Steam does not delete workshop mods nor external mods from such sites as Nexus or any content you may have manually added.

yes I uninstall directly from steam . But some of the games are only singleplayer games like Re2 and Re3 But their folder is still inside steam with some files in it
Just manually delete the remaining folder.
Problem solved.

This is very common for games and other applications as often they will leave some configuration files behind to remember your settings and similar data in case you install it again.

This has been around before even steam was around and if it's an issue for you then simply delete the folder each time after you uninstall the game.

Also be aware a lot of programs will have files in other spots such as for saved game files in your document folder or your appdata folder and you will need to check both if you need the drive space.

Don't worry about it. Steam does this for whatever reason.

You can ALWAYS freely dete either via Steam or directly anyway.
It's not a Steam specific thing, you'll always find folders left over regardless of which launcher you use to install/uninstall games.

Not just in the games install directory but also in the saves folder, which is more often than not located somewhere in one of the windows folders (eg documents) on the C drive even when the game is installed on another drive.

It used to be the case they would ask if you wanted to also remove config/save files, now they just assume you want to keep them.
