Selling unplayed games on Steam
Hey guys! Recently a friend gave me a code that I received a free game in Steam. The game is Two Worlds 2 on Steam and it costs 20 € (Now it's 3 € due to a reduction until 28 March). I played it years ago and I really don't liked it. And how I need some money on Steam, is there a possibility that I can sell the game and get my money back?

You can't sell codes or used games, you can only trade items for items that can be entered into steam trade window at the same time. No cash back or anything like that.

No refund on 2 year old games, yes the price has droped over the last 24 months but that doesn't mean you are eligible for a refund.

That's like getting a burger from McDonalds given by a friend, marching to the counter of a Burger King and demanding your money back because you ate it once and despised it.
Makes absolutely no sense.

I played Two World 2 years ago on my Xbox, forgot to mention about the console. Never played it on Steam. It's not even installed.

It wont matter if you never played it, never installed it, never used it. Unless you have a tradeable gift version in your inventory and you do not.

Here is a link to the items you own that you can sell/trade on steam.

See the refund policy for future info that may help you on this issue.

EDIT..Also, as a side note, you don't really "own" any games on Steam, as you have a license to play them as allowed, and this kind of thing is not allowed as per that license, you see.
