Dutch payments :(

I want to add money to my steam but can't add money because the dutch payment method is ideal. any tips or something?

You can use ideal to pay for adding funds.
Another method is buying digital cards

Otherwise you need to go to stores, like gamemania, aldi, etc and buy a steam card there

Ideal works, I just upped my wallet with it.

As said, you can get giftcards if you want. Aldi, Intertoys, GameMania, etc carry them for sure.

i don't see any "ideal" option within the add funds option, can you specify where you found this? thank you !

I click Add funds, then choose € 5,- and in the next screen where one selects the payment option it's listed in the drop down.

"betaalwijze" (payment method) lists the following options:

PayPal
iDEAL
WebMoney
Paysafecard
Visa
Mastercard
JCB
Skrill
Trusty

You pick iDEAL from that menu

after that you select your bank.


If the option isn't there, you do not have a dutch IP address or are using a VPN
making a purchase with a VPN enabled is against the Steam Subscriber Agreement and can get your account locked due to fraud investigations (bypassing VAT of your own nation for example)

Ik heb ook een Nederlands account maar ik kan gewoon via iDeal geld aan mijn account toevoegen. Raar dat dit bij jou niet kan?

I buy most of the time my steam funds on third party sites, or even in the grocery stores they have it here. (Third party sites like Eneba), and in The Netherlands, Belgium etc. they have steam-giftcards also in the stores.
