need help with download speeds

When i do a speed test on my pc on like google or something it caps at around 95 Megabits per second

But, when i go on the exact same speed test on the same wifi on my phone it goes to 700 Megabits per second.

Is there something wrong with my ethernet or should i just not use ethernet on my pc and use wireless

Generally an ethernet connection is better than Wifi, unless there are problems.

Are you sure it is a Gigabit connection between the router and the PC? Make sure both ends are gigabit capable and the cable is at least CAT5E or better without damage that may impact performance.

Inb4 your network card is terrible and only supports 100mbps.

see if that did anything.
