Fanatical and Humble Bundles are safe btw
Step 1: Go to Steam yourself. Do this by a bookmark, or use google, or type in the address yourself. The point is you are trying to get to Steam in a way that has nothing to do with the site you are trying to use. Confirm you are logged in. If not, log in.
Step 2: Now go to the site you want to use.
Step 3: Click the log in through Steam button.
If it asks you for a username and password, leave. You just confirmed that the real Steam website already knows you are logged in, so whatever you're looking at isn't Steam. If it just gives you a big green button to approve, you're fine. Steam isn't giving them unrestricted access, they're just giving them a unique id to use as a login token.
Thank you
