Are you saying people and not friendly anymore, or you think there a bug somewhere?
but they won't accept !!!
is my profile creepy or lame? is it because I'm a man? no idea
Having a full friend list does absolutely nothing for you so most only have people that they play with on their lists.
I dont see the point in that.
Otherwise i usually accept and wait a day or two if the person writes to me why he added me.
If nothing happens i just remove them from my list.
but still it just feels very awkward to get rejected by your close friend, I mean I know someone IRL that didn't accept my request, that was why I thought there was something wrong with my account so I came here and sought help
well thanks for that
The thing to remember is how YOU approach people.
Most people won't accept random friends requests out of the blue from people who they've had no contact with. ESPECIALLY as scams often prevail on Steam. People WILL be cautious.
If you want to stand a better chance, adjust your behaviour.
If you play online games, then make note of people you play with and get along with. Even if you don't say much to each other. Many friends I've made from such situations is in co-op games where I may have looked after a certain person and they did the same for me.
I'd typically message them and say something like "hey, liked the way we played together, OK if I drop a friends request so I can join games with you in future?"
Simple things like that go a LONG way.
Talk to people basically.
Anyway to test if there is some problem, get someone you can trust, maybe an existing friend right now, and get them to either get someone else or get them to unfriend. Then send THEM a freinds request where you know they're going to respond, and if it works welll there's no problem.
that's all I needed to know
thanks for that
