My Steam Gift Card Code Is Gone!

After my birthday my friends had bought me two $20 Gift Cards for steam.

The first card I peeled off the silver sticker and some of the letters were missing. I was able to put guess 1 and see the leftover mildew on the rest.

(Note: Don't get all mad and say that there is a clear sign saying "scratch gently" THERE IS NO SIGN!)

The second card I peeled off slowly and 2 letters were missing. I look back on the sticker and rub away the paper to try to find the code but nothing. It's either there is a different way to claim without the code or I'm going to have to guess 1,296 different combinations.

(Got my codes, all you need to do is send steam a picture of your gift card. They will send you your codes. I Don't know how but they send you your codes if you send them pictures of your gift card.)

In the future, do not try and peel off the scratch-off security sticker. Scratch the gray coating off to reveal the code. If you rip the sticker off from the card, you can easily damage the code.

Think of it as a lottery scratch ticket. Basically made of the same stuff.
