My steam is messed up

I try to launch it, it doesn't work normally and if i get to the store page it just closes it and I try to launch games via browser but that won't work either if anybody knows what i should do plz tell me

Are you playing on your pc? Make sure to go thru your' pc's loading into the steam app, then left click at top on "STEAM". Go down to Steam updates and make sure it is currently up to date.

One other thing, if your loading steam using the steam app on your pc, make sure you install it from the actual website. Also, it tends to use your browser, so make sure it is up to date. Like for example, if you use google chrome, make sure it is up to date thru the browser itself.

That is good to know. Try the above steps and see if it loads up steam normally. If it does, then will will figure out what the problem is with your game. next, if these steps do not help you with fixing steam, you may need to do a complete uninstallation of it. Usually just installing steam over a copy fixes the bugged files or corrupted parts. You may need to uninstall it completely, but we will only do that if this does not fix your issues.

if i fully uninstall it do i lose my games?

Now do a full uninstallation. First go into your apps, then find steam. Click on it and press uninstallation. After it is complete, restart your pc. Then when it is done loading, go to steamworks webpage and install a new fresh copy of steam. See if that works.

Yes, but you can reinstall them again with no issue. Also, if you have steam cloud on games you delete, the last saves you made on them will load up.

This will fix steam so i hate to say it, you have to do a complete uninstalllation of steam.

no, you only lose the games you installed on your pc as they will be deleted off the pc. Any game you bought is permanetly associated with your account. You will never lose them. You only lose the games you installed on your pc, but not the actual games on your digital library. Let me put it a different way..

So basically, any game you install on your current pc will be deleted. You will not lose them out of your steam library, but you will need to reinstall them on your pc once you completely uninstall steam.

Sorry if i was not very clear. I was trying to explain it, but sometimes i can be confusing.
