all 3rd party sites are USE AT OWN RISK. you got scammed by that sites, not steam. take it up with them.

and secure your account. scammed items are not returned

If you have access to the account

Steps to take NOW:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Please review how you are logging into Steam, you somehow gave them your log in information. This could of been due to the computer being compromised and redirecting to a fake login, or you using a 3rd party site to login to steam.

You will not receive any support from Steam for your 3rd party site usage.

Complain to the 3rd party. Not Steam's concern.

No 3rd party site is "fairly trusted". All of them are use at your own risk and completely unsupported from Valve/Steam.

"Fairly trusted" by potential and actual scam victims. That's how scams work.

i was on how.gg tried converting skins to coins then i accept trade do conformation like i always done for the bot then after i press it an error popped up i look up see my skins traded wait for my coins and nothing

you should remove the sites name, all you are doing is advertising for them (which is not allowed) and that only helps them get more victims. it does not matter what kind or warnings you post, some people just dont have enough common sense

1. Steam has nothing to do with 3rd party, they can't help you at all.

2. If you gift your items away, what you expect them to do about it, they not gonna give it back to you as you gave them away, the point of trading is to trade, not hand items over for nothing in return in same trade window via Steam itself, not using 3rd party.

3. There loads of scammers online, and phishing sites, kind of why Steam doesn't recommend you trying to trade outside of Steam.

Once give items away, they're basically gone, unless scammer has change of heart, and give it back to you, so you can figure it out already you're not getting it back.

No 3rd party sites works for Steam, hence 3rd party. Anything you do is your own risk, that why don't login from 3rd party sites, don't hand items to someone just because someone told you to, and shouldn't be trading outside of Steam.

Lesson of the day, there a lot of scammers, and phishing sites that targets people like yourself to hand items, and money to them to trick you into thinking you get something, or trick you into thinking they're helping you.

i used to play on there alot my best advice would be to get ahold of them steam wont do anything but what happened was either a major glitch and theyll fix it its happened to me or it wasnt a bot from them at all and a bot someone set up and got to your trade first wich is why they always say to match the code they give you with the bots code and if thats a case your stuff is gone gone

There's a huge difference between "trusted" and "trustworthy". Better learn it sooner than later.

Your first mistake is using a third party site.

Your second mistake is actually trusting it.

Use this mistake as a learning experience and avoid doing it in the future.

If your trade is on hold, maybe you can get the items back. Check if you have pending trades.
