So How Exactly Does One Search The Store By Tags?

So I rarely check the Steam store - too much going on for my autism to deal with. When I do (infrequently) want to look for games, I generally prefer to search for specific things by looking up their tags instead of just browsing the front page.

In the past, searching by tag was a pain. Only the most popular tags would appear, with no dialogue box for me to type in the tag which I wanted, and no way to go directly to said tag which I wanted save for scrolling endlessly through the list of 'my tags' hoping it would turn up there. The 'search by tag' screen didn't have a shortcut of it's own on the store page, so I had to click on a tag which I did not want, which would take me to that 'search by tag' screen. Then I had to type in the tag which I actually wanted to search for and remove the other one which I didn't want. Then, finally, I was able to look through games which might actually interest me.

Recently the tags system was changed in an update. Now, there still is no way to directly search for a tag which you want, so you still have to click on one of the popular tags in order to get to a screen where you can type in the tag you want. But now, on that screen, the majority of tags will not appear - only the most popular will show up, and if I want to search for a tag which is much less common I have no way to do so. And also, the tag which you first select to get to that screen can no longer be removed from the search criteria, so even if the tag you want does show up when you type it, Steam will only show you games tagged with both the one you typed and the one you clicked on, potentially leaving out a large selection of other games which may have the tag you type, but are not in the category on which you clicked.

This whole system is just completely inscrutable and unergonomic. The only way I can search for a more rare tag is to scan through the store randomly until I happen upon a game which has the tag I want, and then click on that tag on the game's store page to bring up it's specific tag search. Seriously, what is the point of having tags at all if we cannot search by them?

Am I missing something here? Can anyone direct me to an option which I might not have noticed that actually makes the tag system usable? Any assistance would be much appreciated, thanks.

Store - Your Store - More Tags For You (scroll down) - Global Tags - choose the tag.
Though this "show more" is quite irritating.
