Pay attention to the software settings. You can toggle to where the settings comes from; the local machine + software profiles; or the mouse itself.

Save to the mouse; then u can use those profiles on any system.

However the Logitech Gaming Software must be installed in order to access the profiles or make any changes. The software does not need to continue to run in order for those to take effect though; once u make your changes, you can exit out of that software. Do not uninstall it, just exit it out fully is all, if u don't want it running in background.

Then u doing something wrong; IDK.
I have tried all the quality Logitech stuff; G500, 502, 602, etc...
All work fine, saves my custom settings, etc.
Doing anything like use CCleaner to limit startup programs and/or processes ?

Use msconfig lately and accidently disabled the software in that menu ?
Yea make sure Logitech Gaming Software is allowed in OS Startup; but once the OS loads up, you can exit out of that software by right clicking it in taskbar > exit.

Perhaps my post was not clear and that is my fault so please excuse me. I was asking if you have by chance used any programs like CCleaner, for example, to stop programs or processes from starting when you boot that could maybe be the root cause of your problem.

Same for msconfig, as that also can be used to have a selective boot. If you stop a process from starting and loading drivers or other needed files, for example, maybe that can be your problem.

Oh, no. I installed ccleaner after i installed the logitech program to clean my pc. And I checked msconfig and everything on my pc, like startup. I didn't see anything that has to do with logitech being disabled

Interesting. From what you said in the title post, that really sounds like you have something there that keeps affecting the Logitech program/process, especially from what you mentioned about reinstalling the software working previously.

Have you tried to reinstall it again lately ? I know you said you have but it did not work the last time.

You also said it works on your other computer but not this one. Do you have a different OS on this computer ? What is your operating system on the computer that it works on and what is your operating system on the computer it now does not seem to work on ?

This seems to be better suited for the hardware and OS forum at this point. Unless it is somehow only related to Steam that is.

Yes, I'm using windows 7 on this PC, while on the others are windows 10. And I've reinstalled it for over 7 times already
I assume you have looked around for others that have similar issues with the mouse and if using Windows 7 but here are a couple of links I found.

Also, have you considered searching the hardware and OS forum using the forum search feature ? Maybe someone has already posted about this in the past ?

Thanks, and yea, ive went to tom's hardware and other places but they don't have the solution that works for me.
It seems important here, as long as you are absolutely sure you are doing things correctly there, that it works on W10 but not on W7. Can you link to the website where you are getting the software from and therefore downloading it ?

You are not letting Windows update/install the drivers by any chance are you ? And not updating/downloading them from Logitech, for example ?

Yea, i havent let windows update because when it does, it says something like update failed and retrieving info or something, and its just suck there.
